| County complains about bus service

As gas prices skyrocket, bus ridership in Hillsborough County is up 8 percent over last year. However now a battle is underway over where the buses will run. County commissioners say the city of Tampa is get preferential treatment when compared to people who live in the county.
County commissioners spent Wednesday afternoon discussing a report which says county residents are not getting a fair shake when it comes to bus service. They want Hartline to run more routes to the county. However there are some in the city that says this report was stacked in favor the county. Meantime the people who ride the bus just want it to operate on time and take them where they need to go.
